Kristaps Porzingis was the difference maker in the Boston Celtics narrow 108-104 win over the New York Knicks. Porzingis scored 17 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and dished out 1 assists.
Porzingis Back from Calf Injury
Porzingis was back in action after missing the previous game with a calf injury. He showed no signs of rust, hitting 7-of-12 shots from the field. His presence on the court was a huge boost for the Celtics, who were able to pull away from the Knicks in the fourth quarter.
Payton Pritchard also had a strong game for the Celtics, scoring 26 points and grabbing 2 rebounds. Jayson Tatum added 21 points, and Jaylen Brown chipped in with 19.
The Celtics will look to continue their winning ways when they host the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
